Mitsubishi Space Jet

MHI tapped Edelman to convince target audiences that they were fully committed to successfully delivering a superior aircraft on the timeline promised, and introduce the new plane and brand at the 2019 Paris Airshow.

Leading up to the Paris Airshow, we created a rich brand for this new Mitsubishi aircraft — inclusive of a name, brand narrative, a visual system, a new house livery exterior design, and an improved online presence, among other efforts. The goal was to show off their new fleet and its benefits in a bold and beautiful way. I lead the interior design work for the MHI Paris Airshow chalet and Experiential design for the pavilion to help the customers understand their journey. This effort was a comprehensive earned, owned, paid and social activation.

With 233 firm orders of the Mitsubishi SpaceJet at a list price of $46-47M, this content and communications program has helped ensure the preservation of orders valued at $10.5B.​
